Fukushima Ambassadors Program
Fukushima University invites international students from some universities with whom we have student exchange agreements to come to various areas of Fukushima Prefecture to participate in fieldwork programs centered on exchange with local residents and students. A large number of student volunteers from Fukushima University and other universities in the prefecture participate in this program, getting to know international students and providing language support. Participating in the Fukushima Ambassadors Program stimulates international students to improve their Japanese, allows them to experience Japanese culture, and motivates them to pursue study abroad. If this sounds like something you would like to do, please apply! Students who wish to or have already decided to study abroad as exchange students are especially encouraged to participate.
Program Participants
Decisions on eligibility to participate in the Fukushima Ambassadors Program will be made by the International Exchange Center, based on discussions with the partner schools of students who apply.
We are also recruiting Fukushima University students to participate in international exchange activities and provide language support. If you would like to participate, please contact the International Exchange Center.
